Breaking News: Lamar Odom Out of Coma, Breathing On Own

E! News reports that a source today told them that Odom opened his eyes, saw Khloé Kardashian, who has been by his bedside as he fights for his life, said, “Hey, baby,” gave her a thumbs up and then went back to sleep.
The source also said he is no longer using a breathing tube and that Odom is speaking and functioning. He is still wearing a breathing mask and remains in critical condition.  In addition to his estranged wife Khloé, his children and other family members were there.  Khloé, who arrived with mom Kris Jenner and several of her sisters, had had Odom’s father, his two kids and their mother flown in to see him according to an E! News report.
Lamar Odom remains sedated as doctors worked to make sure his organs function properly.
