Breaking News: Tribunal sacks Buruji Kashamu, Adekoya Adesegun, 5 Ogun lawmakers

The election of Senator Buruji Kashamu, representing Ogun East Senatorial district, as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been nullified.

The Tribunal sitting in Ogun state also nullified the election of a federal lawmaker, representing Ijebu East /Ijebu North /Ogun waterside, Adekoya Adesegun.

Five members of the Ogun state assembly were also sacked by the tribunal on Friday, over non-compliance to electoral law.

Consequently, the tribunal, headed by Justice Ebiowei Tobi, has directed that a new round of elections take place in 110 polling units.
